Exhibition Report: ASCII STARTUP TechDay 2025

Hello everyone!
We exhibited at ASCII STARTUP TechDay 2025 today, and we are delighted to share our report from the event!

ASCII STARTUP TechDay 2025

ASCII STARTUP TechDay 2025, held on Monday, November 17, 2025 at Hulic Hall & Conference in Asakusabashi, Tokyo, is an exhibition and conference event focused on building an ecosystem for deep-tech startups.

Around 20 startups exhibited at this one-day event

Autumn exhibitions really are the best

The weather that day was lovely and cool—perfect conditions for an exhibition—so I was in high spirits from the morning. Since the exhibition did not start until the afternoon, I worked through my morning tasks at a relaxed pace, only to find it was nearly noon before I knew it, and I rushed off to the venue.

The venue was the Hulic Asakusabashi Building

I had been taking for granted how conveniently close Asakusabashi is to our office 💦, but I still managed to arrive ahead of schedule. Events held in central Tokyo really are a blessing.

As I hurried toward the venue, my stomach let out a growl—

"Come to think of it, I haven't had breakfast yet,"

I thought—and just then, what did I see but a truck from Essen 🍞, my favorite bakery!

What luck to run into Essen ♪

Having skipped breakfast, I suppressed the urge to charge into that glorious lineup of bread,
and, recalling the rather alarming memory of our previous event, "CEATEC 2025," where we ended up being the very last of all the exhibitors to finish setting up, I hurried on to the venue—though not without a wistful backward glance.

This was the venue for the event

When we entered, we found a stylish space where the lecture stage and our exhibition booths were integrated into a single venue.

A stylish, relaxed venue ❤

And so, this time we made it to the venue well before setup began. What a relief.

While we were smoothly setting up, one of the event staff told us,

"Your booth looks beautiful, all coordinated in blue."

That made our day ❤

Our booth is ready!

We exhibited with full energy from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Now, let me introduce what we actually showcased.

Unveiling MotionVox's New Avatar Video Editing Features

This time, our exhibit centered on MotionVox's enhanced editing features.

The highlight this time: MotionVox's enhanced editing features!

In addition to the existing avatar video editing UI, the newly introduced multi-track editing feature brings the powerful editing capabilities of video production software to avatar dialogue and avatar motions—designed so that anyone can master it with ease.

Key Features

  • Intuitive editing experience: adjust timing with drag & drop
  • Easily create multi-avatar conversation videos with the multi-track feature
  • Instantly review and refine with real-time preview
  • Core features you can learn in 3 minutes: enter dialogue, place audio segments, and follow an efficient editing workflow (play, refine, repeat)

It offers the same feel as familiar video editing software 💻 while being fully cloud-based—no special software installation required. With just a browser, you can produce professional avatar videos from anywhere.

We presented MotionVox's latest features—it keeps evolving every day!

Growing Interest in AI Security: LLM-Audit

At this exhibition, we received many questions full of deep insight from highly specialized professionals—the kind of questions we rarely encounter elsewhere.

In particular, we saw strong interest in LLM-Audit. AI and LLM technologies seem to have moved past the proof-of-concept stage, with many companies now entering full-scale operational use. In this period of maturity, we sensed that visitors' interest is shifting from "how to use AI" to "how to operate it safely."

AI adoption appears to be evolving from a nice-to-have into indispensable infrastructure, and the accompanying risk management and compliance requirements are gradually being recognized as critical challenges. Through concrete questions about LLM-Audit and consultations about adoption, we could feel firsthand how security awareness is on the rise.

In light of these market changes, we intend to stay close to our customers' needs and continue supporting safer, more reliable AI adoption.

Looking Back on the Exhibition

Wrapping Up ASCII STARTUP TechDay 2025

As an exhibition and conference event dedicated to building the deep-tech startup ecosystem, ASCII STARTUP TechDay 2025 offered a full day at the front lines of innovation in Japan.

Although it lasted only five hours, the venue brought together energetic ventures and startups (ourselves included), support staff from academic institutions, support organizations, investors, and many other ecosystem players, all engaged in passionate discussions about the future of deep tech. The atmosphere was truly stimulating.

The venue buzzing with visitors

Many people stopped by our booth as well, and we enjoyed rich conversations ranging from deep technical discussions to concrete consultations about implementation.

What impressed us most was the visitors' deep technical understanding and their strong drive toward real-world implementation. More than a mere technology showcase, it felt like an innovation conference where new industries are created—we truly sensed we were witnessing the moment next-generation businesses come to life.

In-depth discussions with experts were also very lively

Thanks in part to the central Tokyo location in Asakusabashi, we were fortunate to meet people from diverse backgrounds and once again realized the breadth of challenges our solutions can address. We will put the valuable feedback and new connections gained from this day to work in our future product development and business expansion.

Our heartfelt thanks go to everyone who visited, our fellow exhibitors, and the ASCII STARTUP team for organizing such a wonderful event.

We look forward to seeing you again next time, further evolved!

Thank you so much for visiting! See you next time!
